Great park on a beautiful lake. I lucked out and camped in the west side of the lake the night before the eclipse, and enjoyed the event right from the site. When I come back I will take advantage of more of what the park has to offer.
Great park, upper wind river campground is nice but no shower, now electrical or water at campsite can be limiting. The gorge is beautiful, and it makes for a wonderful drive to Thermopolis.
Right on the Wind River but too many pole lights for a nice campground. Camp host could have been more available for the busy eclipse weekend. Very confusing campsites.
Watched the 2017 solar eclipse on the lake here and it was phenomenal. The state park officials were very helpful and have us free glasses
Gorgeous scenery, predictable weather, tons of fish, soft sandy beach camping spots. Will definitely be coming back.
